Reaching the least, the last, and the lost with the hope and love of Jesus Christ.
Shelter, food, clothing, job training, and spiritual truth for those in need.
We exist to:
We join in faith to facilitate God’s unfolding provisional plan in every aspect of our fellowship. Our readiness to meet the complete needs and concerns of our homeless and poor population identifies our mission of H.O.P.E.
The Spirit of God moves us into action, allowing us to provide direct services of shelter, food, clothing, and job training, as well as seeking to integrate the following values into our service:
“He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.”
Psalm 72:4
Our goal is to build a Gospel Mission / Shelter / Treatment Center to help provide services for those that are in need.
We do not simply focus on one demographic group, but rather help to bridge the gap between those that do not have a safety net to become a more productive member of our society.
“So the last shall be the first, and the first last: for many be called but few chosen.”
Matthew 20:16
Compassion in action: outreach, meals, care, and practical help for our neighbors in need.
“Every man is guilty of all the good he did not do.”
– Voltaire
Do you know the truth?
The state or quality of being true; something which is true; accuracy / sincerity, integrity, agreement with fact.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6
“Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness and thy law is thy truth.” Psalm 119:142
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus asked, “How can a man be born when he is old?”
Jesus answered, “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”
Paul asked them, “Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?” They replied, “We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.”
They were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus, and when Paul laid hands on them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.
Important question:
Have I truly been “born again”?
Note: Compare John 3:5.
